J. F. Martt and Associates was founded in 1995 in Sebring, OH. Our current facilities were built in 1996, and include a 200' X 80' shop with a 35' high 25 ton capacity crane. We began rebuilding and automating roll grinders in 1998, and our Automation and Systems Integration line of products and services has grown to cover clients from all over North America.
We are a provider of In-Plant Machine Tool Service and spare/replacement machine tool parts.
In addition to Roll Grinder Aurtomation and Integration, we service and support all types of mill equipment, for the Roll And Tubular Metals Industry.

J. F. Martt & Associates has built a strong reputation as the place to go for Roll Grinder rebuilds. Most of our rebuilds include the replacement of your existing, probably antiquated, control system with a new custom-designed system integrated completely into your operation, but we will also do mechanical-only rebuilds of your expensive equipment to get you back up-and-running and productive as soon as possible.

J. F. Martt & Associates' Automation System replaces existing roll grinder controls with a custom manufactured system based primarily on Allen-Bradley and Rockwell Controls components.
Our control system employs a true ODBC "Open Architecture", which drives down the total cost of ownership by enabling the buyer to purchase off-the-shelf service components from local distributors. No more "black box" controls with the high prices that goes with them.
Our control systems are always Built-to-Suit. We do not force our customers to operate around a single line of controls. Instead, we design the sequence of operations and Control functionality around our customer's requirements AND operator skill level.

We will take our automation a step further, and integrate our controls with complementary shop functions to provide a complete control system for the entire roll grinding operation. Examples of these complementary functions include:

J. F. Martt & Associates employs a staff of Over-the-Road Mechanics to inspect and service your equipment in your facility, and we maintain a repair shop at our facility to complete your extensive repairs. We also carry a full line of maintenance parts for your own maintenance & repair operations.
While roll grinder rebuild & repair is our primary line of work, we can service all of your machine tools. Our on and off-site technicians can perform numerous repair tasks, including bed scraping and bearing maintenance for the machines that keep our customers running.
